Rembert T. Holmes

Rembert T. Holmes age 85 of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church and a Veteran of World War II. He was a lifelong member of the Masons. Survivors include: Wife of 51 years, Myrtrude Holmes; Sons, Gregory Holmes of Athens, Jeffrey Holmes of Alcoa, and David A. Holmes of Columbia, TN; Daughter, Susan Loftce of Waco, TX; Eight Grandchildren; Two Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Juanita Furr of Knoxville, TN. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. Jason Clark officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:45 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
