Reba C. Johns

Reba Crisp Johns age 83 of Shannondale Healthcare of Maryville died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on April 1, 1925 in Maryville, TN and was of the Baptist Faith since 1976. She worked at Oak Ridge during wartime, Lays Variety Store, Levis, and Proffitts before moving to Georgia where she worked as Cable Department Supervisor at Quadram. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Johns; son, Steve Hurst; parents, Paul & Trula Crisp; step-mother, Nancy Crisp. Survivors include her children, Sunny Hurst and Nancy Lambert both of Maryville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Tallent, Mary Nell Fann, and Effie Hatcher all of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the Healthcare Professionals who cared for her, caregiver, Maxine Knighton, and many thanks to Dotson Memorial Baptist Church for their fellowship while she was homebound.
