Anderson, Raymond Rual age 77 of Maryville passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. He was retired from the United States Army after serving his country in the Korean War. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, The Society of the Third Infantry Division, and the 15th Infantry Regiment Association. Raymond was also a retired private investigator, and he opened the first private investigation office in East Tennessee, Maryville Detective Agency. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Carl and Ida Belle Lawson Anderson; brothers, Oscar Harold, John Hoyle, Herman, and Roy Luther Anderson. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of thirty years, Carolyn; son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Katie Anderson; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Randy Brown; granddaughter and husband, Dawn and Neil Russell; great grandson, Jay Thomas Russell; several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Smith Mortuary. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
