Ray Nelson Roark

Ray Nelson Roark, Sr. age 72 died on November 9, 2009. Nelson was born in Nashville, Tennessee and attended Cohn High School in Nashville, Tennessee. He received his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the Air National Guard. He had worked for The Corp of Engineers and was retired from TVA where he was an Electrical Engineer. Preceded in death by: Father, Earl Raymond Roark and Mother, Mattie Belle Roark. Survived by Wife, Carolyn Burton Roark; Sons, Ray N. Roark, Jr. and Geoffrey A. Roark; Daughters, Stephanie Roark, Karen R. Ray and Son-in-law Dr. Jon Ray; Grandchildren, Alicia Ray, Christy Ray, Elijah Ray, Erick Ray, and Gabriela Ray; Brothers, Robert Roark and Ronald Roark; Sisters, Miriam Shoaf and Meredith Childress.
