Ralph Charles Ogle Sr. died Thursday, October 8, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. He was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church for 43 years. He was owner of Ogle’s Auto Center in Alcoa. He also managed JC Penney’s auto centers for 18 years. Ralph never met a stranger and enjoyed performing his thimble, cards and mind reading tricks. He was an outstanding athlete at Walland High School and received a football scholarship to the University of Tennessee. Preceded in death by: Parents, Charley and Leona Ogle; Sister, Sue Finger. He is survived by: Loving Wife of 59 years, Margery Lou Crawford Ogle; Son & Daughter-in-law, Chuck & Tyrie Ogle; Daughter & Son-in-law, Cheryl & Rocky Williams; Grandchildren, Ranetta Ogle, Todd Ogle (Kari) of Tulsa, OK, Paige Ogle, Anthony Jackson, and Jazzmine Avery; Great-Grandchildren, Tykee Ogle-Kellogg, Nevaeh Kellogg, and Parker Grace Ogle of Tulsa, OK; Sisters, June Godfrey & Dean Russell; five nephews and one niece. A special thank you to: Dr. Scott Gardner and Blount Memorial Hospital, Floors 4 and 5, Transitional Care and Hospice. Funeral service will be at 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Pastor Brooky Gray & Pastor Keith Ross officiating. Family will receive friends following the funeral from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Smith Life Event Center. Family and friends will assemble for entombment at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 12, 2015 at Grandview Mausoleum with Pastor Greg Long officiating.
