Ralph Edwin Guider, age 86, of Maryville went to heaven on April 12, 2016. Ralph served in the US Air Force, retired as an Electrician from Alcoa and was a member of their 25-Year Club, and a member of Unitia Free Saints Holiness Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and his Church. His pride and joy were his grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Parents, Joe & Ada Guider; First Wife, Barbara Jean; Siblings, Charles Guider and Reba Finger. Survivors include: Wife, Pat Neely Guider; Sons, John (Sheila) Guider of Georgia, Carl (Cheryl) Guider of Maryville and Troy Guider of Maryville; Stepchildren, Lonnie (Kathy) Neely, Pam (Kirby) Evans, and Susan (Jorge) Chaparro, all of Greenback; Grandchildren, Jeremy Guider, Jodi (Jeremy) Daughtrey of Georgia, Abby (Sam) Thomas of Maryville, and Drew (Leslie) Guider of Johnson City; Step-Grandchildren who love their “Grampy”, Shari (Ashley) Shults, Travis (Leigha) Neely of Maryville, Jacob Neely, Kaylan Chaparro, and Cristina Chaparro all of Greenback; Great-Grandchildren, Ian & Anna Guider, and Blair Daughtrey of Georgia, Dallas & Thad Thomas of Maryville, and Caleb Guider of Johnson City; Step-Great-Grandchildren, Blake Shults and Ruby Neely of Maryville; Siblings, MaryJo (Dickie) Woods, Phyllis (Jerry) Masingo, Edith Lynn, and Jimmy (Mary Ruth) Guider; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Julian and Rev. Jimmy Guider officiating.
