Ralph Lee Boring

Ralph Lee Boring, 89 of Maryville went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born September 26, 1935, to James and Bessie Boring. He was a member of Rocky Branch Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed having visits from his pastor and church family. He had a career in construction, retiring from RP Industries. Ralph adored his family, especially enjoying spending time with his grandchildren. He loved fishing, hunting, teaching his Sunday School class and eating biscuits and gravy with his family. Ralph is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Billie Joan Boring, children: James (Jamie) William Boring and Berma Lee Walker; grandson, Lucas Michael Boring; great- granddaughter, Evie Hope Boring. He is survived by children, Dennis Walker, Mike and Brenda Boring and Bud and Anita Boring; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers J.D. and Wayne Boring. The family would like to thank all those who brought food and visited him while he was sick, and say a special thank you to caregiver, Marie Thomas and UT Hospice. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 2:30 PM at Rocky Branch Bethel Baptist Cemetery with Mike Boring and Charles Boring officiating.
