Phyllis Sheets Abbott

Phyllis Sheets Abbott, age 91, of Maryville, left her earthly home to be face to face with her Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 04, 2014 at the family home. She was a member of Maryville First Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Survived by her husband of over 72 years, Odis Abbott; sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton and Darlene Abbott of Alcoa, and Larry and Katherine Abbott of Etowah, TN; daughter, Cathy Abbott Coe of Maryville; Six Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Phyllis's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in the Smith Trinity chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard and Rev. Gary Stinnett officiating. The family and friends will assemble on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Grandview Cemetery for the Interment.
