Philip Kara Bivens

Philip Kara Bivens age 58 of Friendsville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 17, 2019. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maude Finger-Bivens. He is survived by his father, Elden Bannister Bivens; brothers, Robert Bivens, Rick (Nora) Bivens, Steve (Teri) Bivens; sister, Gayla (Michael) Wright; six nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and nephews. Phil was a faithful and lifelong member of Friendsville First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Blount County Genealogical Society and was also alumni of the last graduating class of Friendsville High School. Friends may call at their convenience from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:30 PM Monday, April 22, 2019 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 PM with Rev. Bill Gowder and Rev. Scott Kidd officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the Friends Meeting House Cemetery in Friendsville, TN at 3:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2019 for interment.
