Penny Carol Davis

Penny "MeMe" Davis was born June 30, 1971, in Union City, Tn to Lillie Carol (Harris) Henderson and James Danny Morgan.  She was called to her heavenly home on Monday, January 1, 2024.

          She was preceded in death by grandparents, Dewey and Mattie Morgan, Hickman, KY; Harold and Doris Harris, Hickman, KY; her Granny, Blanch Henderson, Newport, AR; both her fathers, Robert Michael Henderson of Walland, TN and Danny Morgan, Fulton, KY; her brother, Ken Henderson, Walland, TN; and her sister-in-love, Loura Anderson, Hornbeak, TN.

          She leaves behind her husband, Clint Davis, Kingston, TN; mother, Carol Henderson, Walland, TN; son, Jeremy Fisher (Ashly), Vernal, UT; daughters, Ashley Fisher, Hornbeak, TN; Beth Hollomon, Maryville, TN; stepson, Cole Davis, Fort Campbell, KY; brother, James Morgan (Kristen), Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Renia Adkins (Kevin) Maryville, TN; sister-in-love, Kim Henderson, Walland, TN; grandchildren, Khloe Fisher, Jaelyn Fisher, Lane, Levi, River, and Waylon Hollomon; many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and so many friends.

          Penny was a long-time employee of Clayton Homes for 22 years.  She was a light that could not be dimmed and loved so fiercely, everyone in her life.  She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin, and best friend to so many.   The greatest joy in her heart were her children, her grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, and she let everyone know it.  She had a heart as big as the sun and lived her life as big as her heart.  She will be missed, remembered, and loved, by so many. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2024 at Smith West Chapel. The Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Carl Crowe officiating.
