Peggy Joyce Williams Wing

Peggy Joyce Williams Wing age 83, of Alcoa, passed away peacefully at Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (Fairpark) in Maryville on August 24, 2013. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lea Williams Sexton, and parents, "Doc" Baker and Nelle Baker Williams Sutton. She was an active member at First Baptist Church Alcoa, until becoming ill, and served as the church's organist for 35 years. She retired from Alcoa City School. Peggy is survived by her husband, Melvin Wing, and children, Elaine Neetz of Alcoa and Dan Wing; grandchildren, Amy Ambagis and Stephen, Claudia, Daniel, Joel and David Neetz Jr., all of Fairbanks, Alaska. The family would like to thank the staff at Fairpark and Caris Healthcare (Amanda) for the care, love, and dignity they showed Peggy during her time with them.
