Peggy "Patti" Welsh of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Knoxville, TN, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Preceded in death by: Parents, Brownlow & Mary Rachel Covington; Brothers, James Brownlow "Jimmy" Covington and Robert Leon "Bobby" Covington. Survivors include: Husband of 18 years, Bill Welsh; Son, Jeff Brandon Humphrey; Grandchildren, Noah Brownlow Humphrey, Eli Carson Humphrey, and Evan Samuel Humphrey; Brother, Lee Roy Covington. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 2, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
