Peggy Joyce Watkins

Peggy Joyce Tipton Watkins age 72 of Maryville passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church, a Lady Vols fan, and enjoyed working with flowers. Preceded in death by: Parents, Joe & Estalena Delozier; Sister, Mary Evelyn Maples. Survivors include: Children, Chita Wampler & husband Tim, Diane Wood & husband Harold, Bryan Tipton; Step Children, Melynda King, Randy Tipton & wife Liz, and Lissa Tipton, Tim Tipton, Lisa Carroll, and Shelly James; 15 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Ben Delozier & Brenda and Joe Delozier Jr. & Tessa; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Special friend & caregiver, Shelia Cupp & her father Elmer Brown; Lifetime Friend, Nell McCroskey Kieger & friend, Lucille, the many foster children she opened her home to. Celebration of Life will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Smith West Chapel with Pastor Mark Large and Jerry Delozier officiating.
