Mrs. Peggy A. Jones

Peggy A. Jones, age 71, of Maryville, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at U.T. Medical Center. Peggy was of the Baptist faith and loved the outdoors, flowers, fishing, and especially taking care of her family and pets. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy "Timmy" Wayne Jones and survived by her husband of 54 years, James "J.C." Jones; Three Sons and daughter-in-law, Terry Lynn Jones and Jerry C. Jones of Maryville, and James R. and Penny T. Jones of Taylors, S.C.; Grandchildren, T.J. Jones of Maynardville, Donovan & Liz Harvey Jones of Oregon, Nicholas Taylor Jones of Seymour, Jeffrey Jones, Jenny Jones, and Jeremy Jones, all of Maryville; Great Grandchildren, Anya Lynn Jones and Emma Claire Jones Korbyn Harvey ; Brother, Rick Dunlap of Colorado Springs, C.O.; Special friend, C.C. Carnes, and many other family and friends also survive. A Celebration of Peggy's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Harrison Hill and Rev. Tommy Hatley officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
