Peggy Dixon

Peggy Dixon, age 73 of Maryville passed away Saturday November 16, 2013 at Tennova Healthcare. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. Peggy worked many years as a secretary in the pre-fabricated home industry and in the school cafeteria. She also volunteered as a Girl Scout troop leader. She was preceded in death by her daughter Deanna Higgins, brother Iottis Adams, grandson Jeffrey Sparkman. Peggy is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Dewey Dixon, daughter and son-in-law Peggy Sue and Shawn Sparkman, daughter Dewrinda Gayle Hager, grandchildren Christopher and Susan Sparkman, Sarah and John Hager, great granddaughter Wynter Gayle Hager, brothers, Joe Lee Adams and William Adams both of Florida, special cousin Mary Elizabeth Yates of Loudon. Funeral service will be at 12:00 pm Wednesday November 20, 2013 at Forest Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Graveside service will follow at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
