Pearl Sylvester

Pearl M. Sylvester age 98 of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Third St. Baptist Church of Maryville. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl O. Myers and J.M. Sylvester; Sons, Gerald M. Myers of NC and Jimmy Myers of AL. She is survived by her daughter, Maxine M. Boruff; daughter-in-law, Loretta Myers and dear friend and neighbor, Nancy Jones. There are 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. The family and friends will assemble for a graveside service and interment at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Steve Hickman officiating.
