Pauline Brackin Tipton

Pauline Brackin Tipton age 86 of Maryville died on Monday, July 28, 2014 at home. Born October 12, 1928 in Tremont, TN (Smoky Mountains) the oldest of eleven children. She was a devoted member of Pilgrim Baptist Church of Maryville until her death. Preceded in death by: Husband, Virgil Tipton; Infant Son, Granville Leon Tipton; Parents, John & Freddie Brackin; Sisters, Johnnie, June & Carolyn; Brothers, Bobby, Jimmy & Gary Brackin. Survivors include: Son, John Tipton; Granddaughter, JoAnn Curtis; Two Great-Grandchildren, Elle and Michelle; Brothers & Wives, Bruce (EvaLea), Sammy (Grace), Dennis (Pat), and Terry (Barbara) Brackin; many nieces and nephews; Sisters-in-law, Bonnie & Francis Brackin. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Greg Brackin officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 1, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Jason Brackin officiating.
