Paul W. Dutton, age 72 of Alcoa, passed away at the University of Tennessee Medical Center on Monday, October 7, 2013. He was born on March 21, 1941 in LaFollette, Tennessee. Paul was a member of First Baptist Church of Alcoa where he served as a deacon. He was part of the 134th Air Refueling Group of the Air Force. He served our country in the military for 3 years and 29 days from April 1961 to May 1964. Preceded in death by: parents, Paul F. Dutton and Cloeva Heatherly Dutton; brother, Ralph Dutton. Survivors include: Wife of 48 years: Alice Dutton; Children, Ricky & Ellen Dutton of Stevensville, Michigan, Brian & Sherry Dutton of Maryville; Grandchildren: Heather, Brady, Riley Dutton of Stevensville, Michigan, Alison, Andrew, and Josh Dutton of Maryville; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Clara & C.M. Chandler of Hixson, Tennessee and Linda & Jack Wallace of Herndon, Virginia; Brother & Sister-in-law, David & Carol Dutton of Alcoa. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
