Paul Brown

Paul Brown, age 93, long-time resident of Maryville, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Ben Atchley Tennessee State Veteran's Home in Knoxville. Paul was a Veteran of the Navy, worked for many years in Cincinnati, Ohio as a semi-truck driver and returned to Tennessee to own and operate Brown's Ceramics with his wife, Frances (Bryant) Brown, who preceded him in death. Paul's brother, Glenn, sister, Edna, and twin sister, Pearl also preceded him in death. He leaves behind children, Paulette Messer (Ed), Connie Frasure, and Doug Brown (Marcia) as well as grandchildren, Jason (Mitzi), Delaney, Jenica, great granddaughter, Sophia, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family. Family will be receiving friends at Smith's Funeral Home in Maryville on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at Grandview Cemetery on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Doug and Susan Garner for their loving friendship over many, many years. We are grateful for the wonderful care the staff at Ben Atchley State Veteran's Home in Knoxville provided our father the past 6+ years.
