Patricia Reneau Woods was born December 8, 1937 to Chrystina and Hugh D. Reneau in Maryville. She was a devoted daughter, loving wife, mother and friend to many. Pat was kind, giving to others, and strong in faith throughout her life. She was an accomplished musician. As a young girl, she sang for various church events, and performed in local theater. She loved working in the garden, and her home has always been filled with beautiful orchids and plants. She was fiercely loyal and loving to her family; hosting meals for family celebrations and holidays was one of her most treasured things to do. Among her many hobbies, she managed to find time to enjoy sewing and reading. Pat worked for many years at the University of Tennessee Hearing and Speech Center before joining East Tennessee Medical Group where she spent 20 years before her retirement. She was a member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church, enjoyed outings with her Sunday school class members, and served as pianist and organist on occasion. Before her retirement, she was the organist and pianist for Broadway Baptist Church for 19 years, and played for many weddings throughout her career. Preceded in death by her parents, Chrystina Wallace Reneau and Hugh D. Reneau, Pat is survived by her husband, Bill Woods, and her two children, Greg Brakebill (Linda) and Traci Topham (Tim); also known as Mimi, Pat adored her grandchildren Emily Sweetland (David), Drew Brakebill (Miranda) and Sydney Topham, and three great-grandchildren, Dawson, Ella and Gracie Sue.
