Patricia Herberta Wasson age 69 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Colonial Hills Healthcare Center. She worked for Bank of Maryville, Alcoa Bank, American Fidelity Bank and Greene Co Bank retiring in 2006. She enjoyed time with family and her grandchildren and many friends. Preceded in death by: Father, Herbert Hitch; Mother, Emma Kate Hitch; Nephew, Alan Hitch; Sister, Barbra Murphy. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Randy & Courtney Wasson; Two Grandchildren, Gage & Emma Kate Wasson; Brother, Bill Hitch of FL/Greenville, TN and J. Lee & Connie Hitch of Maryville; Nephews, Mickey (Anneka) Hitch, Brian Hitch, Tony (Donna) Hitch; Niece, Janie Hitch; several great nephews & nieces. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Ronald Longmire officiating. Family & friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
