Pat was born in Greeneville Tennessee and moved to Hollywood Florida with her family in 1945, and found her way back to E. Tn in 1997. She was a realtor and an advocate for first time home buyers making sure they got the opportunity to purchase a home at the best deal available. Pat was an avid reader and enjoyed reading her Bible, newspapers and the Readers Digest! Her hobbies were collecting and selling Hummel figurines. She was affectionately known as The Hummel Lady. She also was an antique dealer in glassware and enjoyed perusing garage sales and flea markets and spent quite a few years selling her finds at the 407 Flea Market, making many good friends. Pat started working the Election Polls in Florida and continued when she moved back to Tennessee. Ask her family and they would all agree, Pat was an amazing cook! From her famous fried chicken, pound cake, carrot cake and coconut pecan cake and assorted cookies to the tastiest Greek cuisine, she lovingly learned to cook for her Greek husband. This little southern lady made the best baklava ever!! Pat made many friends in her long life and had lots of adventures traveling out west but her greatest treasures were her family. So proud she was of her two daughters, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. During her last weeks, Pat would recite the books of the bible, still not missing a one and quoting chapters as well. She loved God and His Word since she was a child, and taught her daughters to read their Bible’s. Pat will be greatly missed by us all. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in the Spring.
