Patricia Faye Livesay, 74, of Maryville died Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Knox County. She was a full-time Technician with the 134th Air Refueling Group, Tennessee Air National Guard, retiring as Master Sergeant in 1997 after 23 years of service. Over the last few years, she tremendously enjoyed meeting her grandsons and their friends at the Alcoa Duck Pond after school, where she always managed to have snacks for all the kids. She loved Christmas and derived great joy from decorating for the holiday season. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Livesay; parents, John C. Mitchell and Iva Bell Smith; step-father, Howard M. Smith; and sister, Priscilla Deakins. Survivors include son, Greg Livesay and wife Tracie of Rockford, and grandsons Garrett, Griffin and Grant Livesay. The family & friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 5901 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN for graveside service & interment with military honors. The family extends special thanks to Patricia’s sister-in-law, Eileen Livesay, for her dedication and loving efforts over the past several months.
