She moved south to attend Maryville College where she met her husband Mickey. After marrying in Baltimore, they started their new life together in Maryville. God's calling then took them to Louisville, KY; Hickory, NC; Greenville, SC; Fairfax, SC, and Knoxville TN. She taught Sunday school and sang in the choir in all of the churches where Mickey was the Minister of Music. Finally they retired back home in Maryville. Pat traveled extensively with her family across the United States as well as internationally. Some of her favorite travels were back to her childhood home near the beaches and boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. She loved the yearly snow skiing trips out west, which she enjoyed into her 70's. Pat was an avid gardener, working in flowerbeds, vegetable gardens, and even with indoor plants. Every evening while Mickey watched sports, Pat could be found working crossword puzzles, reading books and working Sudoku games but everything stopped when Wheel of Fortune came on TV.
