Patricia Jean Drake, age 75, of Louisville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, while surrounded by family.

Pat was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 8, 1949, to Gordon and Mildred Truesdale, grew up in the suburb of Morton Grove, Illinois, and graduated from Niles East High School. In 1971 she married David B. Drake, Sr. and soon started a family. After living principally in Illinois and Florida, in 1995 Pat moved to East Tennessee where she worked and retired from the hospitality industry and loved nothing more than taking scenic drives through the Smokies and walking daily at Springbrook Park.

Pat is survived by her four children - Christine (John), David (Connie), Daniel (Jessica), and Scott (Brenda) - and seven grandchildren – Rachael, Rebecca, Johnathan, Justin, Samantha, Sophia, and Ryann. She is also survived by her sisters Janice and Nancy, her beloved Chihuahua Peanut, and many dear friends and neighbors.

A viewing and celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Smith Funeral 1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, Tennessee with a reception immediately to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in Pat’s memory to her two favorite charities: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org) or Gary Sinise Foundation (garysinisefoundation.org).
