Osceola Bivens Cooper

Osceola Bivens Cooper, 87, passed away in Gainesville, Florida on February 11, 2013. She was a long-time member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her infant brothers, Calvin and Alvin Bivens; her parents, Cal and Maude Bivens; her husband, John Joseph Cooper; their daughter, Shirley Cooper Headrick; her brother, Ralph Cecil Bivens; and sons-in-law, John F. Clark and Paul Headrick. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Yvonne Cooper Clark and grandson, Joel (Jacki Shehan) Clark of Branford, Florida; grandson, Kent (Jayme Benz) Clark of Kingwood, Texas; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Clark of San Diego, California, and Peyton Clark and Devan Byther of Kingwood, Texas; her sister, Bernice (Rev. John) Smith of Niota; and many other cherished family and friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM, Saturday, February 23, at Smith Trinity Chapel, with a service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. George Macht officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery.
