Octavian Shayde Muse

Octavian Shayde Muse age 4 of Louisville, passed away February 19, 2025. He was born February 18, 2021. Rest easy our Sweet Soldier. In four years you have been through so much more than anyone could have ever imagined. You are the best part of us. You will always have our whole hearts. Just know, half of it went with you. You are a true fighter and you fought a good fight. In your four years of living, you’re finally able to run freely and see what life was supposed to be like for you. We are just sad that we don’t get to see it. We love you so big our Sweet Boy. Our whole lives revolved around you, now we have to figure out how life will be without you. Octavian is survived by: father, Christopher Muse; mother, Annabelle Sampson; brothers, Corey Muse and Anakin Muse; sister, Saphire Muse; great-grandfather, James McAurther Muse; grandparents, Yvonne Richards and George Muse, April Navarre, Duane Navarre, and William Sampson along with lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM, Monday, March 3, 2025. A Celebration of Octavian’s life will be at 2:00 PM at Smith Trinity Chapel. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery. The family requests donations to be made to Smith Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
