Obed Danny Mccollum

Obed DeLancey "Danny" McCollum, age 65, passed away Thursday morning, August 2, 2007 at home in Maryville. DeLancey enjoyed the mountains and the beach, he loved nature, hunting, and fishing. He was retired from Sears. Preceded in death by: Father, Private 1st Class Obed Lee McCollum. Survivors include: Loving Mother, Gladys McCollum of Maryville; Sons, Mike McCollum of Louisville and Danny McCollum of Rockford; Grandson, Spencer McCollum of Rockford; Brother, Bill McCollum of Georgia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Bill McDaniel officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Greenback for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2007, Smith Trinity Chapel.
