Norrine Murphy

Norrine Murphy, age 72, of Rockford, Tennessee passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at UT Medical Center. Norrine was born on January 7, 1947 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was married for 28 years to Wade Murphy. She always had a way of making everyone around her know she would be there to help them through anything. She was the most selfless giving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved sitting on her front porch to watch her hummingbirds that returned year after year. She was huge animal lover and adored her chihuahua, Little Man. She also loved keeping up with friends and family on social media and sharing inspirational quotes to turn anyone's day into a positive one. She was a big supporter of veterans everywhere, especially her husband. Her sweet smile will leave a lasting memory to all that knew her. Norrine was survived by: Husband, Wade Murphy; Sons, Rick Hull and Darrell Hull; Daughter-in-law, Peggy Simpson; Step-Daughters, Melissa Lee and Sonya Bean; Step-Son, Timmy Underwood; Grandchildren, Ashly Hull, Jasmine Hull, Montana Hull, Michael Hull, Robert Lee and Scottie Lee. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Cancer Society of America, 871 N Weisgarber Rd, Knoxville, TN 37909.
