Norma Oleen Miller

Norma Oleen Miller crossed over to her heavenly home at Life Care of Blount County on December 14, 2024 at 90 years old. Norma was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church for 40 years and involved in mission work for 50+ years. Norma raised 5 children and had went back to school at the age of 55 to get a counseling certification. She counseled women in abusive relationships and those with drug addictions until she was 87 years old. Counseling was her gift. Preceded in death by: first husband, Bill Hunt; second husband of 55 years, Carl (Bud) Miller; parents, Ada & Ollie White; sister, Wanda White Staley; beloved son, Michael Hunt; granddaughter, Alicia Hunt. She is survived by; sons & daughter-in-law, Greg & Christine Hunt, Carl III & Dana Miller; daughters and sons-in-law, Carla & Joe Hobbs, Tamra & David Carrigan; adored grandchildren, Aaron Hunt, Kevin & Linky Hauman, Rob & Courtney Baker, Jeremy & Amelia Carrigan, Joshua & Erica Carrigan, Caleb Miller, and Autumn & Michael McKiness; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Life Care of Blount County and UT Hospice for their love and care shown to our mother. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and inurnment at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 27, 2024 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Chris Pass officiating.
