Nina Elizabeth Poplin

Nina Elizabeth Poplin age 62 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was a member of Immanuel Church of Nazarene where she was a Board Member and Sunday School Teacher. She will be loved and missed by her church family. She retired from Maryville Radiology as an Ex-Ray Technician. Preceded in death by: Parents, James W. & Rhoda Jean Roberts; Brother, Jimmy Roberts; Father-in-law, Earl C. Poplin Sr.; Aunts, Beth Parkey & Helen Breeding; Uncles, Tipton & Walter Mason. Survivors include: Husband of 43 years, Earl Poplin Jr.; Son, Brad Poplin of Maryville; Daughter & Son-in-law, Janie & Terry Hudson of Maryville; Very special granddaughter, Sarah Grace Poplin; Brother, Jack Roberts of Friendsville; Mother-in-law, Mildred Poplin of Maryville; Nieces, Deena MaHaffey & Teena Park of Atlanta; Aunt, Ruth Percival of New Tazewell; Special friends, Frank & Carol Curtis, Paul & Linda Graves, Tom & Kim Simms, Celia & Gary Smith, and Jennifer Yates; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. L.P. Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Clark’s Grove Cemetery.
