Nhi T. Hoang

Ms. Nhikieu Teresa Hoang, age 70, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Knoxville, TN. Ms. Teresa was born on March 14, 1952 in Bình Thuận, VN. Teresa is survived by her only child, Nguyễn Hoàng Thiên-Nga (Michael Roberts) and self-bestowed “Grand Bà” to four grandchildren. Teresa was honored to name her grandchildren: Hoang-Thai Tyler, Hoang-Minh Mickinly, Hoang-Vu Theodore & Hoang-Mai Michaela Roberts.

Theresa is the beloved sister of: Anh Trai (oldest brother), the late Hoàng Hữu Trí, survived by “Chi Tri” Dang Vo & children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren (Houston, TX); Hoàng Sang (Hoang Chau), children & grandchildren (Houston, TX);  the late Hoàng Nở; Hoàng Anne Hoa (Le Xuan Loc) & children (Toronto, ON, Canada); Em Gai:  Hoàng Lệ Thủy (Son Huynh) & children (Mississauga, ON, Canada); and Hoàng Mỹ Hương (Trung Cẩn) (Saigon, Vietnam).

It is extremely difficult to send our Mom, Sister, Mother-in-Law, and Ba Ngoai into eternal life, but Teresa is now with her parents: Ông Phêrô HOÀNG CẨM and Bà Martha TRẦN THỊ QUÁ, and her brothers: Phêrô HOÀNG HỮU TRÍ and Giu-se HOÀNG NỞ.

Gia đình chúng tôi chân thành cảm tạ quý bạn bè và thân hữu đã đến thăm viếng, dự lễ và cùng gia đình chia sẻ những kỷ niệm thương yêu, trân quý cũng như hợp ý cầu nguyện và tiển đưa linh cữu Chị, Mẹ và Bà chúng tôi về nơi an nghỉ cuối cùng.

We will be honored to have our family and friends join us in  morning prayers at Smith Funeral Home located in Maryville, TN, on July 22, 2022 from  9:30 to 12:30 PM  EST, which will be live-streamed. 

Ms. Teresa’s final request is your presence at her funeral mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral on July 22, 2022 at 2:00pm (EST), which will be livestreamed at  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAKB0mhO9ApVjXa2Y9wP_YA .  A blessing of her entombment at the Cathedral’s columbarium will immediately follow.  Teresa will now have a front-row view of the Cathedral’s alter to attend not only one, but two  daily masses, weekend masses, and other celebrated masses.  Her wish to be closer to God is now a reality.
