Nelda Jean (Millsaps) Burch, age 75 of Knoxville, joined the heavenly angels Sunday, September 11, 2022. Nelda was a 1964 graduate of Everett High School and retired from Knox County Schools. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was the bravest and most courageous woman ever. Preceded in death by her father, Vernon Ruel Millsaps; mother, Genia Bowers Millsaps; father-in-law, Charles William Burch; mother-in-law, Eula Jane Burch. Survived by husband of 56 years, Tommy Burch; son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Lisa Burch; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Joel Reeves; twin sister and brother-in-law, Dean and Grady Houk; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Carlotta Millsaps; grandchildren, Ryan Davis and wife, Taylor, Jake Reeves, Talon Burch; great-grandchildren, Andi Jane Davis, Myla Jean Davis; special neighbors, Susan and Jeff; special friend, Lisa Jamison. Family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors of UT Medical Center, with special thanks to Dr. Morris and Dr. Langley.
