Natalie Kristin Morton, 41, of Maryville, TN, passed away on December 17th, 2024. Natalie was born on June 2nd, 1983 to Leonard Smith and Linda Frye in Knoxville, TN. Natalie graduated from Maryville High School in 2001, then went on to study Anthropology at Middle Tennessee State University.
After graduating from MTSU in 2007, she began her career in the medical field which included Thompson Oncology Group and most recently, Molecular Pathology Laboratory Network. It was at MPLN over the past 11 years where she served as an integral part of many different departments while making many lifelong friends along the way.
Natalie first met her husband Graig in middle school and they were later married in 2014 after many years together. They enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, completing 5k races, and exploring the world together. She was passionate about many things including nature, cats, music, art, classic movies, and spoiling her niece and nephew.
Natalie was preceded in death by her grandmothers Pauline Perryman and Clarice Smith, her Auntie Jean Perryman, and other loved ones. She is survived by her husband Graig; her parents Linda and Dan Frye, and Leonard Smith (brothers Micah, Justin, and Howard); her sister-in-law KK (Jeremy) Vineyard, niece Murphy and nephew Jonah; and in-laws Carolyn (David) Weisenberger and Phil Morton; and many other loving family members and friends.
Flowers can be sent to Smith Mortuary where the family will hold visitation on December 21st, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00pm, with services immediately following.
