Nancy H. Southerland

Nancy Helen Southerland age 69 of Maryville died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her son, Gary Joe Sutherland; two infant brothers; parents, Jacob and Iva Dixon; twin sister, Ellen Gardner. Survivors include son, Rex Southerland; daughter, Susan George; three grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Stella Dixon of Maryville; sisters, Eudora Flynn of Knoxville, Pat and husband Raymond Glenn of Maryville; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Clifford and Charlotte Tilson of Alcoa. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Cummings and Rev. George Macht officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Madison Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 1918 Madison Avenue, Maryville, TN 37804.
