Nancy Magnolia Carver Icenhower Phillips, age 61 passed away May 5, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was employed at Blount Memorial Hospital with 14 years of service and also at UT Campus for several years. Nancy loved everyone, she never met a stranger, and had a smile for everyone even through the tough times. She was a devoted wife and mother who fought hard and strong for her family. Preceded in death by: Mother & Father, Willa Bell & Bob Carver of Monroe Co; Husband, W.C. Phillips (Sambo); Brother & Sister, Ralph Carver & Wanda Moses. Survivors include: Brenda Baker & Robert Crowe of Maryville, Linda & Marty Sheehan of Maryville, Eugene & Angie Icenhower of Maryville; Stepdaughters & spouses, Renee Tipton, Gail & Mike Davis, Bridgett & Kelly Dallas; Sister, Genelle Laney; Half Brother, Dillard Carver of GA; Sister-in-law, Aileen Carver of Madisonville. She will be missed by lots of brothers and sisters-in-law of the Icenhower & Phillips family. Lots of nieces and nephews; Grandchildren, Josiah Baker and Blake Crowe, Matthew & Kourtney Sheehan, Jamie & Chelsea Sheehan, Andy & Jackie Icenhower, Makayla, Tyler Icenhower, Jamie & Pat Chandler, Terry Chandler, David & Victoria Chandler, Shannon & Quinton Potter, Kevin & Jessica Chandler all of Maryville & Cleveland, Amanda & Christy & Jeremiah of Cleveland; Great-Grandchildren, Brennon James Sheehan and Zoey Brooke Icenhower; one great-grandchild Logan of Cleveland; special niece, Jessie Laney; very special friends, Doyle & Sherry Icenhower, Ralph & Sheila Bishop, Don & Betty Baker, James Chandler, David Atchley, Robert & Rhonda Pitts, Betty & Scott Franklin. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Friday, May 7, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. David Chandler and Rev. Gary Cooper officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
