Myron Lavell Tipton

Myron Lavell Tipton 67, went home on February 22nd, 2025. He was an avid outdoors man and a Scout master in the boy scouts for over 20 years with Troop #81. He was a registered Land Surveyor and owned his own company, East Tennessee Land Surveyors where he worked with his son Chancey. He is preceded in death by his father Gerald Clayton Tipton 70, and mother Barbara T. Tipton 70 and Jade Tipton (Martin) 27, Chancey's wife. He is survived by his wife Teri Tipton, and his children which are his daughter, Brook Nicole Tipton, his son, Chancey Shea Tipton, and Clay Avery. Teri's children are Megan Hughes, Stephanie Taylor. His grandchildren are River Shea Tipton, (Brooks) and Drake and Abby Furman (Stephanie's) and(Megan's) newborn Maisy Hughes and our beloved dog/child Lokey. We're having a celebration of life for my Dad at the pavilion beside the old courthouse in Maryville, on Saturday the 29th of March from 3 to 6 pm. which will include food and drinks and some words being said from close friends and family about him.
