Murry C. Smith

Murry C. Smith age 77 of Walland, formerly of Gainesville, FL, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Arrowhead Church of God of Prophecy. He was the former owner of Murry Smith Roofing in Gainesville, FL and retired from Foys Roofing in Maryville. Murry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Preceded in death by: Son, Philip Murry Smith; Parents, Walter & Mary Smith; Sister, Helen Wright; Brother, William Smith. Survivors include: Wife of 58 years, Jo Ann P. Smith; Daughter & Son-in-law, Pauline & Terry Walton; Daughter, Mary S. Renfroe & husband Danny; Six Grandchildren; Five Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Shirley Courmier of TX; several much loved nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Monday, October 14, 2013 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Terry Barnwell officiating.
