Minnie Lou Moore

June 27, 1952 — October 14, 2016

Minnie Lou Moore of Alcoa, age 64, passed away October 14, 2016 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center following complications of stroke. She was a lifelong faithful member of Edgewood Primitive Baptist Church. Her love for The Lord led her to many positions in the church including Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Director, Secretary, Christmas Play Director, and Song Leader. Besides love, the greatest gift that she gave was the joy she brought to others by singing. Minnie dedicated her life to being a caregiver to the elderly. She was an avid race car fan. She is preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Moore; brother, Larry Moore; maternal grandparents, Henry and Edna Stinnett; paternal grandparents, Robert Aaron and Nancy Moore. Survived by her mother, Ester Moore; sister, Teen Cable; brother, Bob Moore; nephew and wife, Michael and Misty Cable; niece and husband, Mitzi and Patrick Hubbard; nephew, Robby Moore; great nieces, Mikayla Cable, Destiny Johnson, and Madi Cable; special cousins, Tammy Wilson, Doug Crabtree, Danny Crabtree, and Leah Patton; aunts, Margaret Lemanski, Marie Wright, and Henrietta Shull; special friends, Brenda Teffeteller, Linda Dial, Shirley Roulette, and Betty Roe, as well as a host of other family and friends who’s hearts she has forever touched. Minnie was loved by everyone that crossed her path as she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be sadly missed. A Celebration of Minnie’s Life will be held 2:30 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Elder Arnold Whitehead and Elder Ronnie Crisp officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
