Minnie Lou Lowe

Minnie Lou Lowe of Maryville passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Minnie retired in 2015 from Belks Department Store in Maryville, TN where she was employed since 1970's. She was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church and currently was the Organist since the 1950's. Preceded in death by: Sons, Roger Shane Lowe, Gregory Thomas Lowe, Daniel Curtis Lowe; Husband, Darrell Thomas Lowe; Adoptive Parents, Bill & Alma Snapp. Survivors include: Daughter, Mellisa McCulloch Downey; Daughter-in-law, Ruby Lowe; Son-in-law, Michael J. Downey; Grandchildren, Jonathan S. McCulloch, Cora Lynn McCulloch, and Chad Daniel Lowe. Special thanks to East Maryville Baptist Church, DaVita Blount Dialysis, and Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Maryville. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Keith Johnson and Rev. David Webster officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 9, 2015 at East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery.
