Minnie Elizabeth Loy

Minnie Elizabeth Loy age 102 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Maryville Healthcare Center. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Strawberry Plains. She was the oldest and longest lived of 9 children. Preceded in death by: Parents, J.E. & Lilly Smithwick; Husband, C.B. Loy. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Louise L. & Eugene Widener of Maryville; Grandchildren, Eugene Widener Jr. & wife Debbie and Deborah Williams; Great-Grandchildren, Leroy Eugene Widener & Wife Leslie and Wesley Williams; Great-Great-Grandchild, Keeli Widener; Devoted friend, Carolyn Motes. Special thanks to the South Wing at Maryville Healthcare and all the nurses for their care and devotion. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Smith West Chapel with Dr. Dale Ellenburg officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 3:30 PM, Saturday, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for the interment.
