Mildred O. Stroud

Mildred O. Stroud went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 22, 2015. She was living in Manila, Philippines, with her daughter's family, Susan Stroud Parshall, during her illness, but was a long-time resident of Maryville. She and her late husband, William S. Stroud, were members of Fairview United Methodist Church. Her other children are Steven, Douglas, and Eric Stroud; and 14 grandchildren. Millie was originally from Washington State. She was daughter of Forest and Shirley Overman, and the oldest of five siblings, Glen (deceased), Dale, Earl, and Kearn Overman. Millie was a life-long advocate of Young Life and instrumental in starting the Maryville chapter.
