Mildred June Roberts

June Roberts, age 84, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was retired from the Blount County Property Assessor’s Office. June was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She dedicated her life to her family and was an exemplary caregiver to all. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jim Roberts; son, Mike “Thunder” Roberts; parents, Joe and Ethel Gamble; numerous siblings. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Emily Roberts, Jack and Lisa Roberts, and Connie Roberts; grandchildren, Kenda, Justin, Bailie, Joseph, Will, Caroline, J.T. and Tate; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Jolene Gamble; sisters-in-law, Joyce Cook and Sandy Gamble; several nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service for family and friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11am at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville.
