Mildred Shults Moody

Mildred Shults Moody, age 82 of Maryville went home to be with the Lord at 1:43 pm on Friday, March 15, 2019. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. She worked for 30 plus years at various grocery chains and retired from BI-LO. She was a loving, kind, and giving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family with all her heart. She loved growing flowers, quilting, and spoiling her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis D. Moody; father, Misher L. Shults; mother, Zora W. Shults. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Jeff) Rhea and Tammie Hartline of Maryville; grandchildren, Chad Hartline, Ami Hartline, and Ashlyn Hartline of Maryville; sister, Vella Dorsey of Idaho; brother, Roy Shults of Georgia. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Smith’s Trinity Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Mike Parker officiating. Friends and family will assemble at Unitia Cemetery at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 for interment service.
