Mildred Ivalee Garland

Mildred Ivalee Garland, 85, of Maryville, TN, passed away on January 21, 2024.

Mildred graduated from Townsend High School in 1957. She was fiercely dedicated to all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved a strong margarita, country music, and tanning on her front porch. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Mildred was predeceased by her parents Carl and Ethel Hall, son Ricky Vickery, son-in-law

James McClanahan, and sister-in- law Deloris Hall. She is survived by children, Franklin

(Donna) Vickery, Jerry (Debbie) Vickery, Larry (Edie) Vickery, Danny (Angie) Vickery, Lisa

Knight, and Linda (Dwayne) Belcher. Grandchildren: Hannah Vickery, Amanda (Rick) Miller,

Kelcie Holder, Katie (Jonah) Jett, Zackery McClanahan, Anna Wright, Ricky Knight, Shelby

Belcher (Tyler Booher), Zella Belcher, Jacob Belcher, and Patsy Brooks. Great Grandchildren:

Addison and Alexxus Miller, Daxton Holder, Hudson Jett, and Ella Wright. Brothers: David

(Brenda) Hall, James (Carol) Hall, and Everett Hall. Special friend: Bonnie Quiett.

Receiving of Friends will be at Smith’s Mortuary on Thursday, January 25, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral service to follow with Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. Burial will be at Grandview

Cemetery on Friday, January 26, at 1 p.m. with Rev. James “Tater” Wells giving closing prayers.
