Michael “David” Travis age 60 of Rockford passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Erwin Healthcare Center. Preceded in death by: Parents, Mike & Mary Travis; Grandparents, Horace & Gladys Young; Nephew, Eddie Travis. Survivors include: Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Roger Travis (Kathy Jackson), Bobby (Melba) Travis, and Johnny Travis; Sisters & Brother-in-law, Marie “Doo” King and Elaine (Kim) Spires; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins; Special Friend, Dennis Robinson. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, January 18, 2016 at Smith West Chapel. Graveside service and interment will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Cedar Grove Church Cemetery.
