Michael David Pickel

Michael D. “Mike” Pickel, age 74, of Maryville died peacefully in his sleep and saw Jesus on Monday June 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marie Pickel. Survived by his wife Debbie Payne Pickel; children, DeAnna Veal and spouse Aaron, Brian Pickel and Lisa Morgan; sister, Debbie Pickel Ashe; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Brenda Pickel; grandchildren, Allie and Tyler Veal, Ethan Bolinger, Kayla McCollom, and Tyler Duncan; several nieces and nephews, and many precious friends. Mike was a member of Six Mile Missionary Baptist Church and was a long-distance truck driver for many years, enjoying conversations on his CB radio. Mike loved his time camping with his wife and working in his garden. He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will assemble for a graveside service at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jeff Welshan officiating.
