Marvin Eugene Loveday

Marvin Eugene Loveday, 84 of Maryville, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2022, at Park West Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha Phyllis Self Loveday. Children: son, Brent Loveday and wife Janie Valentine Loveday: daughter, Lenita Loveday Huntley and husband Joshua Huntley: sisters; Lois Loveday Davis, and Carolyn Loveday Carter; brother Delmar Loveday: Grandchildren: Chad Loveday, and his wife Elizabeth; Morgan, James, and Madi Hartgrove; Martina and Grayson Huntley: Great Grandchildren; Evie, Ellie, Colin and Case Loveday. Marvin was proceeded in death by parents, A.C and Ellen Loveday and daughter, Karen Loveday. Marvin retired from the railroad at Alcoa Aluminum Company and was a long-time member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. He loved fishing, camping, woodworking and spending time with friends and family. Friends may come by Smith Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM to sign the register book on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Friends and Family will assemble at 3:00 PM for Graveside Service and Interment Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating.
