Michael David Laughter

Michael David Laughter, age 20, of Maryville went to be with his Savior on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Michael was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed classical and gospel music. His smile touched many people. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Laughter Jr., grandmother, Roxie Laughter, and grandfather, Henry Z. Laughter. Survivors include his parents, Donald and Brenda Laughter; brothers David Andrew Laughter, and Daniel Henry Laughter; grandmother, Carrie Nell Corley; and a host of other family. A special thanks to the nurses for special care during the last five years. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Smith's Trinity Chapel, with the Rev. Greg Long officiating. The committal service will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
