Melvin Charles Harris, age 75 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Maryville Healthcare. He was preceded in death by: Father, Crayton Charles Harris; Mother, Julia Ann Williams Young Harris; Half Brothers, Homer and Willard Young; Half Sister, Helen Watson. Survivors include: Children, Cathy Johnson Everhart & husband Bill, Brenda Shelton & husband David all of Maryville, TN; Grandchildren, Eugene & Larry Johnson, and Sarah & Daniel Shelton; Brothers, Vernon Harris & wife Laura, Randall Harris & wife Jean, Lowell (Popsie) Harris, and Gary Harris & wife Debbie; Sister, Elsie Lee Wilson; special nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday, February 27, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with service to follow at 7:00 PM.
